• How do I get a free estimate from Liberty GC?
  Call 503-560-7513, email estimates@libertyroofs.com, or fill out our online estimate form. We'll schedule a site visit within 1–2 business days and provide a detailed written estimate — no charge, no obligation.
• What information should I have ready when I call?
  It helps to have a basic idea of the project type (roofing, siding, gutters, windows, or storm damage), your property address, a rough sense of scope or size, and your desired start date. You don't need final decisions to get started — that's what the consultation is for.
• Is the estimate really free? Is there a catch?
  No catch. We provide free written estimates for projects within our service area. We earn your business by being straightforward — not by pressuring you to sign quickly. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.

Licensing, Insurance & Credentials

• Are you licensed in Oregon and Washington?
  Yes. We hold an active Oregon general contractor's license, number 242343. You can verify it through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB). We're happy to provide a copy with your estimate packet.
• Do you carry liability insurance and workers' comp?
  Yes to both. We carry $2 million in general liability coverage and maintain active workers' compensation insurance for all employees. We can provide certificates to your insurer or HOA upon request. Never hire a contractor who can't provide these.
• Are your subcontractors licensed and insured too?
  Yes. We only work with subcontractors who hold current licenses in their trades and carry their own liability and workers' comp coverage. We verify this before any project begins.

Project Timelines & Process

• How long does a project typically take?
  General ranges: Roof replacement — 1 to 3 days. Gutter installation — about 1 day. Whole-home windows — 1 to 3 days. Full re-side — 1 to 2 weeks depending on home size. All projects receive a detailed written schedule before work begins.
• Do you handle permits and inspections?
  Yes. For all permitted work, Liberty General Construction pulls required permits, schedules inspections, and provides you with final sign-offs. Never let a contractor tell you permits aren't necessary for structural or electrical work — it protects your property and your insurance.
• What happens if something unexpected comes up mid-project?
  We stop, document what we found (photos and description), and contact you before proceeding. Any change to scope or cost requires written approval from you first. We don't add charges without your knowledge.

Pricing & Payments

  Cost depends heavily on project size, materials, and existing conditions. As a general reference in the Pacific Northwest: roof replacement typically ranges $8,000–$25,000 depending on size and material; seamless gutters, $1,200–$4,000; window replacement, $500–$1,200 per window installed; and a full re-side, $12,000–$40,000+. We provide itemized written estimates so you know exactly what you're getting.
• Do you require a deposit?
  For most projects, we require a deposit at contract signing to secure your start date and cover initial materials. Remaining payments are structured in milestones tied to project progress, with final payment due at completion and your walk-through approval.
• Do you offer financing?
  Yes — we can discuss financing options for qualified homeowners. Ask us for current details when you request your free estimate.
